Job Description
Job Overview
You’ll be responsible for cutting wire cables produced in the factory to lengths specified by customer orders. Since cables come wound on drums or spools, you’ll use cutting machines to cut them to specified lengths and prepare them for easy shipping.
The cables you’ll handle include:
- LAN cables
- Optical cables
- Coaxial cables
- Communication cables
- Fire-resistant cables (fire protection cables)
All of these are essential products supporting electrical and information infrastructure for internet connections, disaster prevention systems, and industrial equipment. Your work will help support the electrical and information “connections” used throughout the community.
Specific Duties
The main workflow is as follows:
- Check order forms and instruction sheets to understand “what length to cut”
- Set wire cables in the cutting machine and input necessary conditions such as length and quantity
- Operate the machine to cut cables to specified lengths
- Bundle cut cables and pass them to the next process (packaging or shipping preparation)
- Simple cleaning and tidying around the work area and machinery
You won’t be handling everything alone from the start—you’ll work alongside senior staff and learn gradually. Cutting machine operation centers on predetermined button operations, so once you learn the procedures, you’ll be able to work smoothly.
Since there are occasions to move cable drums, this work suits those who enjoy physical activity. Perfect for those thinking “Rather than sitting still, I want to work while moving moderately.”
Daily Workflow (Sample)
Work hours are from afternoon through evening. A typical day looks like this:
- Arrival, change into uniform, work preparation
- Morning meeting (confirm daily work content, safety matters, and share communications)
- Work: Cutting wire cables using cutting machine
- Short break for rest
- Work: Continue cutting operations, length verification, etc.
- Lunch break (employee cafeteria available)
- Afternoon meeting (confirm afternoon workload and shipping schedule)
- Work: Cut orders, pass to next process
- Short break
- Work: Finish daily work, cleanup, overtime as needed
Since many parts involve repeating the same procedures, once you get accustomed, you can proceed at your own rhythm. Perfect for those who want to focus and work steadily.
Ideal Candidates
We recommend this job for those who:
- Want to try factory work from scratch
- Enjoy physical work while engaging in steady tasks
- Are skilled at working carefully according to instructions
- Are interested in work supporting electrical and communication infrastructure
We value the desire to “give it a try” over experience. If you have questions, surrounding staff and supervisors will provide solid support, so please apply with confidence.
