Job Description
Main Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for processing “front hubs” and “rear hubs” used in automobile front and rear wheels. Both are important parts supporting automobile suspension systems—products requiring precision.
Overview is as follows:
- Set iron rod-shaped parts (about the length of a plastic bottle) in NC lathe
- Start lathe with button operation (door closes automatically, cutting process inside)
- After processing completion, remove processed parts from automatically opened door and temporarily place on dedicated racks
- Measure dimensions and shapes using calipers and micrometers
- Check measurement results to verify they meet specifications
Basically, work involves repeating the flow of “set → button operation → remove → measure.” Those with experience loading/unloading NC lathes can adapt smoothly, and those with experience in correction and condition setting can expand their scope of activity even further.
Specific Work Flow
Explained in more detail, it looks like this:
- Lift iron rod-shaped parts and securely fix them in the NC lathe chuck section
- Confirm processing program and press start button
- Door closes automatically and NC lathe automatically starts cutting process
- After processing completion, door opens automatically—remove parts and check for burrs or damage
- Measure diameter, length, etc. with calipers and micrometers, and check if they meet specifications
- If problems exist, report to supervisor and review conditions as needed
In addition to basic NC lathe operation, inspection using measuring instruments is also an important part of the job. Since you proceed while confirming “whether the parts I processed properly meet standards,” this is perfect for those who enjoy high-precision work.
Daily Workflow (Sample)
A rough daily flow looks like this:
- Arrival, change into work clothes in changing room
- Morning meeting (share daily production plan, safety confirmation, communications, etc.)
- Work A: NC lathe setup, processing, dimension measurement
- Break (properly refresh during lunch break and short breaks)
- Work A: Continue same process quietly
- Cleanup, prepare for next day, closing meeting
Basically a style of focused work at your assigned station. Once you learn the procedures, you can spend the day at a good rhythm.
Job Satisfaction & Ideal Candidates
Automobile suspension parts are important components directly connected to vehicle safety. While these are parts rarely seen in daily life, thinking that products you’ve helped process are used in various vehicles domestically and internationally gives a strong sense of manufacturing satisfaction.
Perfect for those who:
- Want to leverage NC lathe experience and work long-term in a stable workplace
- Enjoy focusing quietly on tasks
- Find satisfaction in work requiring millimeter-level precision
- Are interested in automobiles or machining fields
Conversely, rather than “work constantly conversing and moving around,” this suits those who prefer “work carefully pursuing precision at their station.” Recommended for those wanting to proceed carefully at their own pace.
Work Conditions
Work Hours & Overtime
- Work Days: 5 days per week
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours actual work time)
Day shift only, making it easy to maintain a regular life rhythm. With no night shifts, this suits those wanting to work stably while reducing physical strain.
Overtime is approximately 10–20 hours per month. While requests may occur depending on production conditions, rather than staying late every day, this is an environment where you can aim for increased income within reasonable limits.
Days Off & Leave
- Days Off: Weekends off (subject to placement company calendar)
- Extended Holidays: Golden Week, Obon, New Year’s holidays available
With weekends off, you can properly secure time with family and hobbies. With extended holidays as well, you can work with clear separation: “work hard when working, rest properly when resting.”

- Hourly Rate: ¥1,150 – ¥1,438 (considering experience and skills)
【Monthly Income Example】
Monthly Income: ¥202,400~ (example based on ¥1,150/hour × 8 hours × 22 working days/month)

- Overtime Pay: Provided separately
We properly evaluate your past experience through hourly wage settings based on experience and skills. If you’d like to know details such as “what income level to expect,” please feel free to consult during the interview.
Welfare & Support Systems
- Full social insurance coverage
- Employment insurance
- Paid leave system available (10 days granted after 6 months of employment for those meeting attendance requirements, per company policy)
